Happy As Larry

It’s all kicking off this week as I have discovered that Chris has secretly been putting the heating on whilst I’ve been out.  But it’s “Even Stevens” as it appears Chris is unhappy about the prospect of Valentine’s Day and what it entails for him as a husband LOL!

I shed some light on the Origin of Shrove Tuesday and we learn the context of our very well-known phrase, "Happy as Larry" in this week’s segment of the Origin of Words.

We also discuss the funny events and purchases that have surrounded our past Valentine Days over the years and Chris decides to get romantic on me at the last minute!
